Your wedding day arrives and all the planning is
now behind you. It is now time to sit back and relax,
knowing you have planned well and employed the services
of wedding industry professionals to ensure your day
runs smoothly.
You will most likely spend the night before your
wedding chaperoned by either your bridal
party, mother or both. Your partner will spend
the night chaperoned by his groomsmen and best man.
You may wake up and have either a facial, makeover,
massage, or some other form of pampering treatment.
Chicken and champagne breakfasts are often a nice
idea however some brides find they are too nervous
to eat. Make sure you nibble at snacks throughout
the day as you will need your energy to keep smiling
all day long!
Your photographer
and videographer
will arrive to begin the 'before' shots and the 'home'
shots. You will look back on these photos of the 'before',
because they will later contrast the transformation
from your normal everyday look, into the beautiful
bride that you will soon be. Try and relax and enjoy
this time surrounded by your closest friends and family.
Stop and savour each special moment as this day will
fly by so fast you will wonder what happened.
Your makeup artists will be working with you, pre
ceremony to re-create the look that you previously
trialed. Your hairstylist
will also be with you to complete the beauty puzzle
(often your hairstylist and makeup artist will be
the same person or work as a team co-ordinating your
hair and makeup with bridesmaids and even mother of
the bride).
Make sure you take a moment when you put on your
wedding dress, jewellery, and additional accessories,
assisted by your bridesmaids and maid or matron of
honour. You may decide to have a sip of champagne
or two and toast the magical day and evening that
is to come. The wedding
cars soon arrive at your house, and either a chauffeur
or a personally nominated driver will summon you and
your bridal party, mother and father to your awaiting
transport.
You will then be offered more champagne, or something
to relax on your journey to your ceremony. You are
running late of course, but no more than 15 minutes
if possible.
